About Mercy

- I wanna teach y'all during this time the oh so wonderful English language (sarcasm) but seriously I do!

- I wanna help y'all to not only speak, read, and write English but to understand and comprehend it as well. There is beauty in the English language I assure you!

- Qualifications.. I'm a high school student lol BUT I am in Honors English so I do have experience speaking it and I've been learning it all my life.

- My instagram is mercyiyene sooooo if y'all got any questions and wanna reach me shoot a dm to me!

I started teaching or tutoring a few months back with my aunt because she needed help with her math lesson and I just liked the idea of helping people out so I wanted to branch out

I am a highschool student and I have been learning English all of my life so it's my first language. I have always been in Honors English so I have advanced knowledge of the language as well.

About the lesson

First, I would go over the basics and see what my student does understand and then continue to see where they are struggling in and focus on that. I also like to carry conversations so that way I could correct as they are speaking.

I've also worked with Spanish speaking students on this app and basically it was like texting so they would text me in English and then I would be able to correct them and teach them why that correction was made.

KEEP PERSISTING! I know these teachers/tutors are super expensive like... Anyways, you should also look for reliable teachers and look at the reviews for them and ask their former students (if that's an option) about them.

The events for me that have happened were the protests and it's heartbreaking at what's happening in this world right now and there's not that many events happening because of Covid and so right now there hasn't been anything that has happened. OH! One event though that made me chuckle a bit was the empty seats in Trump's rally because of TikTokers.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students, don't be afraid to ask questions about your needs. You are doing this for YOU! So don't be embarrassed about asking questions.

My pricing really is only $10 a lesson. I don't want to charge a lot for my lessons because I know that at this time there's a lot of things going on with Covid-19, the protests, jobs, etc. and I don't want to put any stress on anyone.
