About Renee
Words are our number one way of communicating with others. As a professional in the mental health field, it's important to me to help others find the correct words that truly convey what they are trying to say. This translates not only in my professional career, but in my personal life too. I love to help others find their voice and get their message across in an appropriate manner.
I possess an AA- Psychology, BA- Social Work, & MA- Social Work from CSUMB and USC, all achieved with a 3.69 GPA or higher. I take academia very seriously and believe it is the foundation for anything we hope to do in life.
My very first job in high school was as a tutor at my local Boys and Girls Club. I was also a student ambassador and mentor in college for lower classmen, and also professionally excel in a helping field.
I have an AA- Psychology, BA- Social Work, & MA- Social Work. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Southern California and have various certificates and achievements for academics and leadership.

I like to have them explain what it is that they are trying to accomplish and then develop step-by-step goals that we can work on reaching by the due date.
Middle school through undergraduate, but am available to help elementry level kids as well.
The most important thing to consider when hiring a tutor is not how easy they will be on you, but how well you feel you can talk to them. A tutor is someone that helps facilitate learning, which can be hard and frustrating, it's important to pick someone you think you can trust to help you.
