About Hazel

I'm excited to meet each student and change my teaching style to best suit the student's needs. One of the most important things when educating is to never put anyone down, no matter how wrong their answer or approach is. I will do my best to lift the students so that they feel confident in their own abilities.

I have a passion for reading and writing and have indulged in book writing myself. Never published, of course, but one day. I have taught young students and given them the basics needed to continue on their writing journey. Whether it's essays or short stories, I'm confident in my ability to show each student the wonder in writing your own thoughts and ideas.

I am a current college student who has experience in teaching children about language arts and the skill of writing and spelling.

About the lesson

When I'm meeting a new student, I like getting to know them a little to break the ice. After our introductions, I'd ask the student what they want to work on, and we'd go along with the session.
