About Christopher
While many tutors are only able to recite the technical details of the English language, my experience blends the ineffiable artistry of nuace and connotation with the masterful application of grammar.
All reading relates to my work. Whether I'm admiring the effortless flow of a description in at Nabokov story, noting the poor writing of an unclear instructionon manual, or studying Latin and Sanskrit for leisure, every contact with the writen or spoken word influences my proficiency with the supreme tool of language.
My Bachelor's degree in Classican Studies imbued me with appreciation of the history, evolution, construction, artistry and precision of the English language. Preceding and following my formal education are decades of insatiable literary consumption.

My process begins with where the student is, and concludes with where the student wishes to be. I can help one add a few points to a GPA or test scores, as well as lead aspiring writers and non-native speakers to the pinnacle of poetic proficiency.
I've worked with students of all ages and many cultures, and of all abilities. I've taught in elementary schools, high schools, worked with students in foreign countries, and assisted severely developmentally-challenged individuals.
