About Randi
I have been an Elementary ESL Teacher for 11 years. I love teaching and helping children learn English as their Second Language. I am motivated and available immediately!
I love seeing the "ah-ha" moment when a child understands what you have taught them. It is the most amazing part of teaching! I also love interacting with students, and all the personalities they bring with them!
I have a Masters in Language and Literacy with a concentration in English as a Second Language.
I also have a duel Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and a Certification in English as a Second Language.
I have always loved working with children since the age of 13 when I started babysitting. I served in the United States Air Force for 10 years, and upon exiting service I went straight to college to become a teacher. It is something I knew I always wanted to do!
I have 11 years of experience in a regular classroom environment teaching Elementary Education and providing English as a Second Language assistance. I hold a dual Bachelors Degree in Earily Education and Elementary Education along with a Certification in English as a Second Language. I also have a Masters in Language and Literacy with a focus in English as a Second Language.

It is important to get to know my students and to find out what inspires them. I will find out their current abilities and discern what they wish to understand and learn. It is crucial that the student is allowed to lower their affective filter in order to learn and grow.
All types! ESL, Regular Education, Special Education
I suggest you find a teacher who is qualified but also loves teaching!
