About Valentine

I started tutoting in High School when I was singled out by one of the virtual enterprise teaches who randomy asked me if I wanted to take an exam. I agreed. The teacher explained that I performed vastly on the exam and if I felt I could handle an after school job; being a teachers assistant as well as tutoting my peers and possibly younger children. I agreed and my journey started at Beacon After school program in Gershwin East NY middle school. Tutoring and working with childfen has been a passion of mines ever since.

Hi! I have approximately 17 years of experience tutoring children, from grades K-12 as well as working other in-home and after school programs. With me, your children will receive skills and learning tools to excel and master strengths. In addition to turning weakness into new strengths. I'm willing to do other tasks if requested; homework, projects, & assignments. Personally, I take the time to understand what may be the most effective way an style your child may better learn as well as retain information. Taking the time to navigate your child's interest, likes as well as dislikes and try to incorporate them for positive learning. I provide progress reports as well assignment exams upon arrival so you can keep up with your child's progress. so minimum supervision is required. With all my skills and experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your child's learning (tutoring) experiencing.

About the lesson

I give an assessment test covering general core knowledge; to do process of elimination and sorting of strength verse weakness.

I have had the privilege & experince of working with child with learning/attention disabilities in addition to advance learns.
