About Kayla
Is your child struggling with their school work or homework? Do they need some additional help or motivation? I am a junior pursuing a degree in education at Barrett, the Honors College at ASU and am available to assist with online tutoring. I specialize in elementary/middle school content but most of my experience is in 3rd-6th grade. Some information about me and my credentials is included below. Please reach out to me if you are interested or for more information.
As the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College believes, teaching is "The world's most important profession." Teaching creates all other professions and I enjoy helping students to reach all of their goals and to overcome their obstacles in order to succeed in life. Making a positive impact in a child's life is important to me and I have found that I am able to do this through being an educator.
I have always enjoyed working with kids! For my first job, I worked as a Front Desk Assistant at a martial arts school. I was tasked with greeting all of the students and their families along with doing secretarial work for the school. It was during this time that I was able to create close connections with all of the kids and I decided that I wanted to go to college to become a teacher. Since then, I have worked very hard at my degree and am getting as much experience as I can through internships and professional development trainings.
