About Andrew
I've spent the last four years teaching both French and English in a variety of school settings, but I'm at my best in small-group and one-on-one situations. I've been in urban, suburban, rural, and even private schools. I use a variety of techniques to adapt to different learning styles: visual, spatial, hands-on.
-Four years of full-time classroom teaching, both in French and English.
-Additional experience working with youth at church and as a basketball coach.

I like to get to know the whole person, and not just the student. Language learning is more effective when rooted in real-life, so to make it authentic I like to use students' interests. So in addition to jumping right into content, I will spend some time getting to know students in order to make the learning process more effective in the long run.
