About JD
Hello! My name is JD Allen, I'm a college grad who wants to help others going through school the way many helped me. My goal is to not only help you with your studying and understanding of the content. But to also help you with getting into the habits that it takes to be successful at the college level. When I started college I had no study habits or discipline and it took me a few semesters. I believe I can help you get into a good rhythm within a semester. Going month by month, we will figure out what study habits work best for you and what don't. My goal is that by the next semester of school you no longer need a tutor. Or that we enjoy our time and continue our work together! I am available every afternoon / night and throughout the day, although the day can be sporadic.

First things first, to be comfortable with the tutor and for me to understand what works for you and what doesn't. How long can you study effectively? What content are you best at and worst at? Studying can be a chore, how do we build the discipline to get through it without looking at Spotify every other song?
Afterwards we will work together to find what does work for you and build on that over the course of the semester. Each month evaluating how we can improve. This isn't a solo mission, we're trying to get you to where you don't need a tutor next semester!
