About Arelys
I am excited to help you achieve your academic goals. In span of 35 years, I have taught college, high school, intermediate and elementary level students. I am credentialed, licensed and endorsed in the following areas: British, American and Classical literature, AP, Language Arts, ESL, ESOL, and Social Studies. Other areas include Spanish, Humanties and Art. I am well-travelled and have had a wide array of cultural experiences.
Some awards and honorable mention include: Best Rookie Teacher of the Year, Certificate of Recognition and Dedication to Teaching by the GAIN program of California, and listed in the 1996 edition of Who's Who in America's Teachers. Nominatons submitted by previous students.
I am a project oriented, creative instructor and will use many techniques and approached to insure your succees. It has been my life-long passion to teach students of diverse cultural backgrounds. I am here to help you succeed.
