About Jonathan

I always had fun helping people learn things, and decided to build upon that one day.
I always had great grades in school and helped the other kids in class to excel. I helped occasionally for years with my mother's daycare.

I have worked with all kinds of students, but am fairly new to tutoring directly.
Try to see what they are good at and if the person is approachable before hiring them.
My mother and uncle's childhood friend who was a foreign exchange student from Equador visited the family recently.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student should try to see what they are stuck on and to not be afraid of asking for help. They should also not shy away from criticism on their strengths.

I was really struggling with reading fast and reading aloud but Jon helped me to get over my stage fright and helped me to read faster.
He was very clear and consise when he helped me set up my email address so I can talk to my grandchildren
I really enjoyed the connection and the passion that came with the tutoring. They really try to slow down and help you understand or walk you through a process repeatedly until you fully understand. It's great for slow learners as well as quick go-ers.
I had a lot of trouble with Algebra and Jon helped me to get through it and pass my class with a good grade!
