About Ashley
I've wanted to be a teacher since I was in 3rd grade and my dream came true! I've since made the decision to apply my teaching philosophy outside the classroom. I believe students learn better in a small group or individual environment, where I can better accommodate for their learning style and needs.
I've had classroom experience with early childhood students, PreK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade.
I have two years of (in-service) experience teaching 4th grade at a STEM charter school and PreK at a blended special needs/refugee bilingual school. I also had many pre-service experiences student teaching in diverse schools.
I have a FL teaching certificate for K-6, but hold an IL license for teaching infancy- 9th grade as well.
