About Anna
Special education major. Passionate about helping students with disabilities as well as students who may suffer from deficiates. It is my goal to help students by using different learning strategies and structures to help students achieve their goals and suceed in their learning. I have worked for two years with students who struggle with disabilities at a charter school and also have taught classes for homeschooling groups. Associate degree in special education, bachelor in progress.
My mother has been a teacher for many years and inspiried me to help students. I then began volunteering at her school and was later offered a position.
I have an Associates degree in Special Education and am currently in my junior year of my Bachelors program in Special Education.

The first thing that is vital with new students is building rapport. When a student trusts an adult or teacher they will be much more open to the idea of trying new things and working hard. The first time meeting with students, it is a good idea to play fun learning games as well as using icebreakers to build rapport. Then from there, instruction can be focused on.
Students with disabilities such as; autisim, learning disabilities, bevahioral disorders, and emotional disturbances. I am also experienced in the general education classroom.
