About Aubrey
I am confident in my services and I believe they stand out because I have had three years experience in the general education classroom myself. I value human connection, each child holistically, and I am passionate about academic growth and success.
What I enjoy above all when it comes to teaching is the kids themselves! I love connecting with them, watching them work through troubling work and then miracuously have things click. Each child learns and sees the world differently, and I enjoy learning from each one of them as well. :)

When working with a new student, I first begin by making a connection and attempting to get to know the child before jumping directly into academics. When reflecting back on working in a daycare, with military youth, and my time in the general education classroom, I can confidently say that the most fruitful learning occurs when a connection has been made between the teacher and the learner.
