About Tommy

I personalize the learning process to get the most out of my students. I have a curriculum that I modify along the way so that any student can learn at their own pace.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2017. There, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English, with a concentration on writing and a minor in screenwriting.

I took courses pertaining to teaching, including Advanced Composition for Credential Candidates and Rhetorical Arts. These courses engaged me in a dialogue on modern teaching that I still discuss and develop to this day.

Additionally, I was a camp counselor in Maine for eight summers. I rose up the ranks to Head Counselor at Camp Timanous, working with boys ages 8-15 for seven-week sessions. There, I learned how to create and cultivate a space for a child to grow into their own. Also, I tutored for several summers, teaching campers ages 8-14 at both reading and writing.

About the lesson

English lessons offered by Tommy are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Los Angeles. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
