About Tristan
I've always had a passion for school, and I've known what it's like to not only excel in a subject but struggle with another topic all at the same time. I'm a 3rd year English/Writing major at UCSB, and I am planning on becoming a full time teacher post-graduation. I know how much great teacher and tutors have helped me get where I am today, and I would love to give back to people who simply need a little extra help, just as I once did!
I am a 3rd year English/Writing major at UCSB, and I peer tutored throughout my time at Loyola High School, located in downtown Los Angeles.

Typically, I like to spend at least 10-15 minutes getting to know the student, specifically where they personally feel they struggle before I even assess where I believe they need help. I believe no one knows themselves better than the student, and it helps me to begin a relationship with my student by getting to learn about their academic struggles.
