About Jakiyah
I am self made and would like to help the student in any way I can, I’m very reliable and don’t give up on something just because it isn’t easy. I’ve been tutoring for a year now and I really enjoy that i later hope to presue teaching when I get older.
I’m still in highschool but, I’m usually really good at catching on to things fairly quickly.

About the lesson

1) I get to know the student and gaurdian, so that I can make it a much more comfortable learning environment
2) I then try and let the student work on one of the problems alone to see where a pain point might be
3) I think discuss leading tactics that might work for them
4) I give an example of one of the problems then I ask if the student understands and let them attempt to do it by themselves
5) the student becomes less and less reliable on me therefore learning the material
I’ve worked with students in language arts, math, and basic history
Make sure the teacher know the material inside and out they can’t teach what they don’t understand
