About Madelaine

I am a freelance writer, media analyst, and content contributor with a strong background in the study of language, grammar, writing, and even stage and screen performance. Not only do I come from a long line of English professors and accredited linguists in my family, but I have also tutored students in the basics of grammar, informal and formal English, colloquialisms of different regions, and literary interpretation. I also offer proofreading for a variety of projects, coaching for American-English dialects, and anything else that would be of help to you. No task is too small if it helps you along your academic or professional journey!

My true language is "people." I am empowered and inspired by those who are dedicated to improving speech, or meaningful linguistic skills, in any facet of their lives. I understand that we all are naturally gifted with our own unique talents, and I have spent the past two decades of my own life writing, analyzing, and performing works in the English language that have given me a diverse yet incredibly thorough understanding of the importance of its many uses. To give you an idea of how deeply I love language, many of my favorite birthday gifts over the years have been grammar books and hardcopies of classic English language novels. I also speak two secondary languages and am creating projects for music, screen, and expository pieces with international co-writers.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in business and performance, I have worked as an executive assistant to Fortune 100 CEOs in the fields of communications and entertainment, and I have national and international accolades for the performance of music, dialogue, and artistic writing and interpretation. These incredible opportunities drive me to share as much of my knowledge as possible while I continue to learn and grow alongside my pupils!
