About Mary

Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Nebraska

Taught classes for 5 years to children from Kindergarten to 12th grade as a volunteer for Andrews Homeschool Educators co-op

Classes that I have experience with are Art, Music, Life Science (animals and plants) and Life Skills

I love to help children realize that they can do whatever they put their minds to. To work with a child and see them learn new concepts and understand them is amazing. It is unlocking unlimited potential in each mind as they gain knowledge and explore.

I have homeschooled my own son who has Asperger's Syndrome. I have also taght many classes to children of all ages. I have a degree in Animal Science and I love to help children exceed their goals.

About the lesson

I get to know the student and the process by which the child learns the best. This includes asking questions, playing games or talking about related subjects to the learning material at hand. I give them tools to use to solve or answer the questions they have regarding the subject.
