About Loraine

Hello! I'm Loraine, a professional ESL teacher with 10 years' experience as a specialist in English as a Foreign Language and English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL certified). I have taught students of all ages -from 5 to 50, of many different nationalities, and various levels (from absolute beginner to proficient) in Brazil and here in the U.S.

I am happy to help you with grammar, vocabulary, accuracy, reading, writing, speaking, fluency, pronunciation, listening, exam preparation or Business English. Book a trial lesson with me so I can design a lesson specifically suited to your individual language needs. I'm fluent in Portuguese and have studied Spanish, so I know exactly how it feels to be a language learner.

What I like the most about being an English teacher is finding interesting ways to help my students. With so much information out there, my challenge is to personalize the learning experience to each student according to their needs and learning style to ensure a pleasurable experience with desired results.
