About Brittany

We have a firm grasp on the "bigger picture". It is important to understand individual topics without simply memorizing and regurgitating information. Grasping how topics mesh together provides an individual with a firm comprehension and well rounded education they can take out into the real world. If you are seeking to improve either school or work achievements we can give you the competitive edge required to succeed.

Seeing the "lightbulb go on" for a student is extremely rewarding and provides me with a sense of satisfaction that is rewarding in itself. I have studied a variety of subjects over the course of many years and take pride in passing that gained knowledge on to others in an understandable and applicable way.

I would explain curriculum to fellow students when they could not understand how the professor was explaining the material. After a few instances of this, the students I helped learn the material suggested I become a tutor or teacher. I realized how rewarding that could be, and the rest is history!

When getting started with a new student I collect a sample of the curriculum they are struggling with and review some of their previous work to assess their individual learning style.

Details

New client sessions are available on Saturday and Sunday only.

$40 per hour if you travel to me.

$49 per hour if I travel within a 15 mile radius.

$55 per hour if I travel within the 15-30 mile radius.

Sessions may include multiple subjects for no extra charge outside the normal hourly rates.
