About Hallie
I am an accomplished full time educator working currently for the Montrose/Olathe School district. I teach English as a Second Language and Spanish as a Second Language to middle school students at Centennial Middle School. I hold a valid teaching license in Texas and in Colorado and have taught students from 3-12 grades for 30 years. My areas of expertise are in Health and Physical Education, Language Arts, and Linguistically Diverse Education. While in Texas, I achieved the Zavala Middle School Teacher of the Year award and have been nominated twice for Teacher of the Year at Centennial Middle School. I am a very kind and patience individual and it brings me great joy to see my students successfully achieve in their academics. Teaching is and has been my life. I love what I do for students, and I believe students easily relate to me because of my caring and nuturing nature and enthusiasm for learning. For this primary reason, I wholeheartedly believe students can achieve their academic goals.
My reward is seeing the elation on my students' faces when they achieve their goals.
I am a fully licensed/certificed school teacher for the state of Texas and Colorado.
