About Brianna

Over the years of tutoring and teaching, previous students have reached out years later to ask for support. This has meant a great deal to me as a teacher, knowing that I've made such a large impact on my students and provided such support for them over the time we worked together.

My students have described me as a great listener and teacher/ tutor who pays attention to detail. I am an observer and a 'questioner' who likes to problem solve and support in any way I can.

In teaching and tutoring, I love the creative process of working with students. It's not only about the end product but about the journey and process of getting there! I love seeing confidence unfold over time and, with that, a new sense of style in their writing and a sense of independence.

About the lesson

In the first session, I like to get to know you as a student. This gives me a baseline of where you are in your work. I like to speak to my students about their strengths and needs and what they're looking for out of the sessions as well as a basis for the work.
