About Rebecca
I am currently a graduating senior from Centenary University. I am obtaining my bachelor's degree in Secondary (grades 5-12) English Education with a certification in Special Education.
I started following my passion of English education my senior year of high school, where I had the opportunity to observe and teach lessons in an 8th grade English classroom. My whole college career I have been preparing to work with all grade levels with different strengths and weaknesses. As of May 2021, I will be completing my student teaching in 9th and 10th grade in general, college prep, honors, and inclusion classes.
I enjoy bringing the wonders of English literature to all students. Because my biggest interest is in literature, having students learn and grow in their literary journey is something I am so proud to see. I love working with teenagers to help enhance their skills in English.
