About Ella

I believe that students excel in a subject when they are inspired. My main goal is to help my students find that passion in subjects that they may be having trouble with.

It is always a great feeling to see students strive for greatness and put hard work and emotion in subjects that they may have struggled with before.

I started tutoring French in 8th grade. I started because I saw some of my peers struggling with the subject. I wanted to not only help them bring up their grades, but also help them be confident and enjoy the subject.

I am currently in my sophomore year of high school, and currently take AP World History, Pre-AP French, Literature and Composition II Honors, Algebra II, and Chemistry. I have been tutoring students in French for 2 years, and I am looking to expand my tutoring experience to subjects such as History and English.

About the lesson

I would advise a student to look for a teacher that meshes well with their personality. I personally believe that a student will not get the most out of the tutoring if their tutor isn't compatible. Balance is key for tutors: you cannot go straight off the textbook or you will seem robotic, but you also cannot do whatever you want and seem unprofessional I.
