About Jamie
I grew up in Manhattan and attended The Hewitt School. I spent two years as a lower-school teacher at a private school in New York City. I also spent a year volunteer tutoring SAT prep at a school in downtown NYC. I now work in communications for a financial institution and spend a lot of my time writing and editing.
I spent two years as a teacher - first teaching second grade and then teaching kindergarten. I also spent a year tutoring SAT prep and helping to craft/edit college admissions essays for high school seniors.
