About Juan
2002 Accounting college graduate who possess over 20 years of English tutoring experience (fluent in English/Spanish, friendly, responsible). I possess a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Accounting with a 3.5 GPA; Various English and Literature college classes, and Hands on experience as a English Immersion teacher with high school graduates in the Dominican Republic.
It gives me great joy to see my students feel they can grasp the subjects being studied; seeing the smile the feeling bring to their faces.
My joy for teaching developed out of appreciation towards the English language and the prospects of meeting new people. The satisfaction my High School English teacher exhibited, and her commitment inspired me to want yo learn the language in the hopes of making new friends. I became so enthusiastic about learning the language, that it was not long, before she approached me with an offer to help her assist students with homework. After this, it wasn't long before I started tutoring on my own.
I possess a Bachelors of Science in Public Accounting with a 3.5 GPA; Various English and Literature college classes, and Hands on experience as a English Immersion teacher with high school graduates in the Dominican Republic.

To start the process, I like to engage the prospective student in a Greet and Meet conversation to develop an idea of the level or skills the person possesses. I also like to ask the student directly about where they think they English/Accounting Skills stand, and why they're pursuing the endeavor.
