About Lalla
I've excelled in English, literature, and writing. I received a 5 on the AP English exam and my essays have received 90 or higher scores. I am very well read, from authors such as Ralph Ellison: Invisible Man or Chinua Achebe: Things Fall Apart, which both reveal the negative and positive effects of societal pressure. Furthermore, poets such as Langston Hughes and Edgar Allan Poe articulate the grim realities of societies past, the black experience, and the wildness of love.
