About Christy
Hello! My name is Christy! I received my B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine. I am currently enrolled in the MAT grad program at UCI, where I am training to become a middle and high school English teacher. I am a student teacher at Corona Del Mar Middle and High School, where I also work as a cheerleading coach.
I love seeing people learn new things! Teaching is my passion and it's a thrill to see students pick up on concepts and ideas through learning.
I have my B.A. in English from UCI. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching degree and Teaching Credential from UCI.

The first thing I like to do is establish a rapport with the student by asking them what their interests and hobbies are, what they enjoy most about school, and what they believe their strengths are! Afterwards, I will work through the academic areas that need improvement.
I have worked with all ages! From elementary level, to middle and high school. I currently student teach middle and high school students in English literature.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what their goals are! It's important to visualize goals so we can collaborate on a plan to meet those needs! Having specific questions about their work is also helpful to get a clear understanding of how we can implement change.
