About Heather
With over 20 years as a high school classroom teacher, I provide the encouragement and techniques to ensure success with reading comprehension and essay writing.
I believe in people and potential. Learning is fun and I center all of my work on finding a way to success. My students can achieve great things. With focus and attention, the basics and beyond are only a few steps way. My enjoyment in teaching is seeing competency and mastery, but most importantly it is in the faces of my students when they know they can express themselves skillfully to the world at large.
I fell in love with teaching due to a history professor’s reccomendation.
A graduate of the College of New Jersey, I have 20 years of High School English experience teaching Juniors and Seniors of all levels (honors-essentials) American Literature, British Literature and Mythology.
