About Liz
I'm a pre-law biology student at BYU with about a year and a half left of school. I've studied genetics, neuroscience, physics, molecular biology, chemistry, psychology, politics, and law so I can help out a decent amount in those areas although not in a crazy amount of depth.
I've spent three years doing volunteer tutoring in those areas, and before that worked at an after school program to help kids with their homework and worked as a Kumon math and English tutor.
I really love when I'm able to see that a subject has clicked and they start zooming through problems and asking questions that show they really understand a subject.
I also feel like tutoring helps me better understand the subjects and solidifies base principles in a better way as well, and helps me become better at explaining things in general.
