About Ellen
I work with students to achieve their reading and writing goals in all grade levels including college prep, higher education, and workplace skill enhancement. I have been a teacher for over 30 years and hold an M.A. My students typcially achieve all of their goals and more! I like to make the sessions fun and engaging so that students can experience the benefit of language arts skill building.
I enjoy connecting with students, and designing a program the fits their needs and interests. I work with them to improve their skill sets and to understand the critical thinking that underlies an effective use of language. I also encourage them to see how a good grasp of language skills can help them in their entire educational experience. As specific to their immediate goals, I help them to have a fun and valuable experience as they learn.
I have been a teacher of many subjects for many years. I am a STEM lecturer and provide educational programs on different topics.
