About Herod

Passionate about communication and obsessive about consistentcy in grammer, punctuation, spelling and style, all learned right from the Associated Press Stylebook. I was a sports stringer for AP 2002-2002, for MotoGP and World Superbike and learned from the best. My work on motorcycle racing has been in magazines and newspapers all over the world.

Before AP, I was with Reuters for two years, also as a stringer.

Just write and write some more, read good writers and develop your own style by absorbing lessons from great writers.

I will help you to produce clean copy that will earn you praise and top marks.

Putting to paper the lessons I've learned from reading great writers, coming up with clean, clear copy that gets reactions from readers.

I've always been interested in helping others improve, I enjoy teaching others new skills.

Journalism degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Ten years as a stringer for AP, two years as a stringer for Reuters plus articles in magazines around the world. I own over 2,000 books!

About the lesson

Show me a report or article yoo've written and we go from there. Show me what you read every day. Show me your passions!

Make sure your tutor has been published and is well-read.

Running the media center for a USA Superbike championship race and getting letters from the media after the race saying how I was the most helpful and cooperative press officer they'd ever dealt with.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How can I improve my writing? Where would I get the best examples of good writing? How can I turn my passion for X into a paying career by writing about my passions?
