About Branden

I've been honored to serve as an educator for 10 + years and have enjoyed every moment of it! In addition, I've coordinated many after school programs in which I created the tutoring curriculum for each individual student. My commitment is always to the student and their academic achievements according to the family's needs. Exceptional leadership and adaptability is key for me in achieving growth with each student because each students learns differently. My strengths are in English(k-8), Literature, Math(algebra, college algebra, some calc).

Schools I've worked in during my time in education.

Foreign Language Immersion & Cultural Studies(k-8)

Robert Burns Academy(k-6)

Thomas A. Edison Elementary(k-5)

Wayne State University (college-level)

Look forward to working with you!

I enjoy helping students toward their goals and building their confidence in each subject, especially a challenging one! In addition, I love to help individuals achieve their goals by providing additional academic support and encouragement.

About the lesson

Mist important part of my process is building rapport with each student considering that they've previously struggled in various subject matters prior to our meeting. At this point it is very important to learn the student and to instill confidence in order for the student to be empowered to learn.

Nevertheless, prior to setting up any further tutoring sessions, I like to meet with the student and/or parents to work cohesively to build a specialized plan of action based on students data.(data is key to growth) Next we identify student achievable but still challenging student goals and timelines for achievement for measuring goals and achieving desired results in as less time as possible; after all, time is money and we want to be efficient with both while achieving your academic goals.

Next, we implement a plan and begin tutoring sessions to track students progress😀

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out

Am i ready to do what it takes to learn this material?

Will I continue if it gets difficult?

How will I apply what I've learned through my tutoring for further advancement?

Why cant I find anything on earth more fruitful than knowledge?
