About Alyxander

Reading, writing, and helping others learn are some of my favorite things to do! I have enjoyed reading and writing since I learned how, and I grew up tutoring my younger sister, as well as classmates, and children at an elementary school I volunteered at during high school. I have also got years of experience in customer service so I am great with people. :)

I got started teaching by being an older brother. Out parents worked a lot, so I was the one to help my sister with her school work, and from there I started helping others at school.

I have been a teaching assistant at an elementary school, as well as tutoring my younger sister, and classmates while growing up.

About the lesson

My personal process when working with a new student, is to start by getting to know them and their learning style a bit. Getting a basic understanding of how someone thinks and communicates is essential with helping them learn in a way that works best for them.

I have worked with elementary and middle schoolers, and I have experience with neurodivergence, both helping others who are neurodivergent, and being neurodivergent myself.
