About Stephanie

I travel to the students and only ask that they have all the materials that they need my help with such as their textbook, notes from class, the essay I will help revise, etc. I also offer to help organize the students homework/test schedule, study time and home work time. But that is only if the student would like help getting organized and stay on top of tasks.

I enjoy working with students of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. As a student myself, I understand the difficulties of learning new material and how frustrating it can be when you don't understand it. I strive to ensure that all the students I work with are given the basics, which will allow us to build up from there. As a tutor, I will dedicate my time to the student's success and overall growth. While I cannot work miracles, I will always put in the utmost effort if the student is willing to do the same.

I am a bioogy major in my senior year of college with 2 years worth of tutoring experience. I mainly focused on highschool/college level math, science and english but I am more than open to students that are at a lower level.

About the lesson

I try to see what level of understanding they have based on the material they wish to study/learn. Whether they understand very little or are more advanced, we can still get positive results.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If students are ever even slightly unsure about material, they should ask their teacher for clarification. From there, if the teacher doesn't completely help you then looking into tutoring may be the best option. While teachers do try to attend to the students needs the best they can, the student may need more personalized help.
