About Xiaodan

I've been deeply passionate in English and history since high school. Although I'm ethnically Chinese, I have lived in English speaking countries for my whole life (including 6 years in the United States)

Having tutored students in English and History since high school, I came to see how my passion in the humanities best serve students' academic needs.

Now as a history major at the University of Wisconsin Madison (ranked 42nd in national universities and ranked 25th worldwide by the Center of World University Rankings), I aspire to continue my work of helping students suceed in high school and beyond.

By choosing me, you are selecting one-on-one tutroing sessions with an expert tutor with an affordable price.

My service include: high school English and History, essay editing, AP US history, AP European history, vocabulary, and elementary English speaking and spelling.

Please feel free to contact me by my personal email if you need tutoring: (concealed information)

I started teaching since I was a high school student all the way till my collegiate years. I really enjoy English and History and love seeing students who want to learn.

I took AP US History and AP European History and both scored a 5 in high school. I am now a history major undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin Madison.

I have mostly worked with middle and high school students. Some of them are native English speakers and some aren't.

Students have reached out to me for English pronounciation, essay editing, AP prep work, and more. Some students have even appraoched me for Chinese language help.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about what subject they need help with and what skills they are looking to develop through pur tutoring sessions.

Our teachers and help with defining these skills too!
