About Madeline

I provide engaging, creative, individualized sessions for each student! My passion lies not only in helping students understand how to effectively read and write well, but also in getting students excited about language arts! With a mix of humor and formal lessons, you will walk away with an increased desire to continually take your learning to the next level.

Above all, I enjoy working with students. I jumped into the teaching profession due to the joy and energy young people bring to those around them. Since earning my M.Ed from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, I have worked with students in public and private schools, as well as in outdoor education settings. Each student I have had the pleasure of working with brings something unique to the table, allowing for individualized, engaging content. I believe when content is personalized for each student, learning becomes more interesting and attainable. There is no sweeter experience than watching a student grasp a concept for the first time, and then apply it in their everyday lives with ease.
