About Molly

I'm studying to become a teacher and the "light bulb" moment of when a student understands the material is what motivates me to want to teach, so I can inspire students to want to learn and explore.

I am a George Mason Graduate student studying Early Childhood Education and Special Education and want to continue to share my knowledge and help those who need extra help.

I have tutored in the past to a middle school student who was taking an introductory level French class. This student was on the autism spectrum and has inspired me to want to become a special education teacher.

I have and am a substitute teacher for Fairfax County and have been in a variety of elementary-level classrooms, working with all students who need various levels of help.

I've been an after-school nanny for four years and have helped both children (elementary and middle school) with their assignments.

About the lesson

I will get to know the student and figure out how they learn best, visually, auditorium, and then try to teach them as best I can, building upon their strengths and getting them to where they want or need to be.

I have worked with preschool, elementary and middle school children.
