About Megan

I studied Arabic in college and spent a year in Jordan. While I was there, I met an educator who was opening a new school in Iraq. She invited me to come teach in Iraq when I graduated, and I took a leap of faith and accepted. I ended up staying for eight years! I have spent this time honing my teaching skills and look forward to bringing best practices to all my students.

I hold a BA in Linguistics and an MA is education with a focus on early literacy and culturally and linguistically diverse education. I have eight years of experience teaching in international schools outside the US. I also have experience teaching ESL online.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what your goal is. Try to break it into steps. I can help! If you want to pass a test or gain English skills for a job, I can help you break that goal into manageable chunks. Also think about how much time and energy you can devote to the goal. This will help you estimate how long it might take to reach it.
