About Reagan

Hi! My name is Reagan, and I'm an experienced writing tutor with several years of professional experience.

I specialize in helping students write academic papers, college admissions essays, resumes, cover letters, research articles, and more.

I am passionate about helping students find their voices. I approach every session with empathy, and understand that every writer has a different, unique style.

I studied English and writing at Georgetown University, and I also worked as a writing tutor at the Georgetown University Writing Center for 3 years. 

Since graduating, I have worked as a Copy Editor and Content Coordinator at LinkedIn, and am currently a Business Affairs Coordinator at National Geographic. All of my past roles have allowed me to write, edit, and produce high-quality written material to connect with global users.

Writing is social—and for this reason, the most important part of working on an essay, project, or resume with another person is simply getting to know them. I like to spend time getting to know the writer and understanding their writing style. In turn, I want the writer to feel comfortable with me as their tutor. This allows us to build a foundation where we can be creative, collaborative, and productive throughout the process. 



I have worked with writers of all ages—from middle schoolers to high schoolers, undergraduate students to graduate students, and adults. 

I have also worked with ESL (English as a second language) students. 



Work with a tutor who is actually interested in who you are as a person, understands your writing style, and encourages you to learn and grow.
