About Paul

I have over thirty years of experience helping students study English and have been certified for grades 7-12 since 1999.

I taught hundreds of students language arts, AP Language and Literature, Drama, Journalism, Philosophy, AP World, and AP US History.

I was an adjunct college instructor of Composition, Communications, and Media History.

I have an MS in English with Education from Southern CT State University and a BFA in Drama from Hofstra University.

Helping people read, write, and think critically is my life’s work, and I very much enjoy it!

I was a theater teacher and taught drama classes in a high school. Then I studied for a masters degree to teach English. I’ve been certified to teach grades 7-12 since 1999.

I have been a teacher for thirty years and have an MS in English from Southern CT State University. During my career, I have been a pioneer in educational technology and have developed CyberEnglish as a way to teach writing.

About the lesson

I’ll ask for a diagnostic writing sample or a class syllabus and review it with the student. Then I’ll design lessons to help with improvement.

I taught public school and have experience with a very diverse group in both urban and suburban settings. I was also an adjunct at local colleges in my area for many years and taught adults interested in advancing their education.

Perfect! Paul was an excellent tutor. He was very flexible if my son wasn't able to meet during the time scheduled it was easy to move to another day. Paul's experience with schools makes it invaluable in a strategy and approach if your child has a 504 plan. I would highly recommend hiring this tutor for your child.
