About Jennifer
I am a certified General Education teacher as well as a certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Educator. I have been teaching for about 6 years now. I am currently working as an ENL teacher in a school in the Bronx, working with Kindergarten, 2nd & 4th graders. I have had experience within all elementary grades for the past couple of years as well.
I started by working at an after school program as a teacher for 3-4 years and I moved up from there, working at a pre-k school in Queens for 3 years and then moved on to working as an ENL teacher in the Bronx.
I have both my General Education & TESOL certification. I completed my Bachelors at Nyack College & my masters at Hunter College.

I like to first evaluate them and see where they currently are whether in their reading level, English proficiency and/or math comprehension and then I move forward from there. I usually like to contact the student's teacher as well, to get a better grasp of where the student stands academically.
