About Brittany

Hi! My name is Britt. I recently graduated magna cum laude from Rowan University with a degree in Public Relations, a minor in Strategic Communication, and a concentration in Advertising. I excelled in college composition classes, advanced writing classes and I am knowledgeable at MLA/Chicago/AP styles. I have used the writing process to earn high scores on papers and tackle writing projects for varying internships.

Along the way, I learned tips and tricks to strengthen my writing skills and even overcome mental barriers related to writing. I have helped many peers with their writing and I would love to help you too! I want to pass on the tips and tricks I used to do well in school.

I welcome the opportunity to help you establish your voice and feel more confident about your writing. My goal is to help you set and achieve your academic goals. You can do incredible things with the right help!

In college, I was fortunate to have great professors that ignited confidence in my writing. I learned how powerful it is to explain ideas, make people feel something, and find your voice through writing. My peers noticed I was receiving high scores and they wanted to learn how they could do the same. I taught them tips and tricks to strengthen their writing skills and improve their grades. Some students even felt more at ease about writing.



I have two years of tutoring experience at Rowan University. There, I helped students outline, draft, and edit research essays, persuasive essays, narrative essays, and expository essays.

The coursework for my major in Public Relations and my minor in Strategic Communications was writing heavy. I received high scores in College Composition I & II, Basic & Advanced PR Writing, Intro to Journalism, and Copywriting.

Prior to scheduling sessions, I like to virtually meet the student and/or parent(s). This initial meeting will address any comments and concerns so we can cohesively work together to build a unique plan of action. Students create a detailed description of their current situation and their desired results. Next, we come up with short-term and long-term goals and what steps we will take to effectively accomplish the desired results. I offer a specialized online calendar plan for students/parents to keep track of short-term and long-term goals broken down by day/week/month. We will also establish how we're going to track progress.
