About Erika

I'm a graduate of The University of Cincinnati. I have taught English as a second language for three years internationally. I live in Mexico where I've taught English at language centers, resorts, K-12 schools, and private clients in-person and online throughout my city in Mexico. I'm a certified ESL Instructor and received my TEFL certification in Mexico. I love seeing the transformation of my students go from beginner to fluent. That is the most rewarding part of teaching. My students go from being shy to having confidence in speaking English. With my personality and my sense of humor, you will have a comfortable class and judgment-free environment. I have plenty of patience and understand that learning a second language is difficult because I am learning Spanish. With patience, grace, and hard work, we will both be fluent in our targeted languages! We will play online games and do interactive activities. I have a PowerPoint for each lesson and will send you the PowerPoint afterward. I'll send the materials you need and prep for classes based on what you tell me in advance. We can connect over film, music, art, culture, sports, and other things as well. We will work together to improve your English so that you can have more opportunities in life .
