About Shelley Horsley
I have been teaching on-line and in person for the past 7 years. My students bring me great joy as I have a passion for teaching and love to see my students succeed! Being fluent in Spanish has helped me understand the students who are new to the English language. I am available for on-line classes. For in-person classes I am available to teach within a 5 mile radius of Northford, CT.

I use several programs in my on - line teaching. One of the programs I find useful is Epic! , a reading and learning platform. It offers access to books and videos for children ages 12 and under. My lessons are for students in kindergarten through grade 5. I particularly enjoy working with new English learners. Parents have been very complimentary of my teaching style, in particular they seem to appreciate my patience and encouragement with the students.
