About Cal

After twenty years in the business world working as an operational analyst, I have left my cubicle behind and have pursued education. I really have made a great move for myself as I love tutoring and teaching; I get to work from my home and I get to do what I really enjoy doing. Working in Analytics, I worked heavily with data and databases. I think I have spent most of my working career in MS Excel and have done innumerable things with it. In my work, I was always searching for answers, and SQL is the key computer language to know when looking for data. SQL is deceptively simple and yet so powerful, and I really enjoy using it.

About the lesson

The best way that you are going to learn something is by doing. In session with me, you are in the driver's seat. You will be getting your hands dirty be it writing SQL code or making things happen in Excel.

Perfect! Cal is an expert in data analysis with Excel and Power BI. Cal is very good at explaining how to navigate the different software packages and explains how to perform summary stats, analysis and visualisations which is invaluable.
