About Alex
Hi there!
I'm a graduate of the University of Melbourne (Honors list) and I've been a personal tutor for the last couple of years. I've also worked in coursework design and development back in Australia, for university and high school programs, so I've developed a good knowledge of learning systems and pedagogy.
Having just moved out to LA, would love the opportunity to pick up some spare work and help your child develop some great skills.
I can teach guitar, basic piano, English and elementary/middle school science. I like to keep kids engaged and curious while teaching, so that it's not just rote learning but something they find value in and want to discover more for themselves.
