About Edward

Are you a beginner looking to improve as quickly as you can?

Are you struggling to change chords fluently?

Can you play a few chords but feel like you're stuck and not improving?

Have you tried surfing the web for lessons and ended up overwhelmed and flummoxed?

Would you love to learn to play your favorite songs and perhaps even learn how to write some of your own?

Starting to play guitar poses a unique set of challenges-even getting a single note out is physically challenging in the beginning, and this can be very frustrating. But there are ways to eliminate trial and error so that every time you pick up your guitar, you're getting closer to that magic moment when you're freely playing songs and melodies without checking your chord shapes or staring at your right hand.

If you're buying a guitar, or you have one in the cupboard that you've put aside because it felt too awkward and you got discouraged, pick it up again! It's skill, not talent, and it can be learned - but there are more and less effective ways of learning.

Thank you, Ed.
