About Kevin

Ever wanted to learn to play guitar? Or are you looking to expand your knowledge of the instrument or learn a new style?

I've played guitar for over 17 years and have taught students of all ages. I tailor each lesson to your goals and we work on songs that both interest you and will help you to become a better guitar player and musician. I strive to achieve a balance in my teaching style of practical approach and music theory, and at the end of the day I want to help you to enjoy playing guitar!

I've played in rock bands, funk bands, singer/songwriter bands, metal bands, and more - I love all types of music and am confident I can help you learn whatever style of music you're interested in! I also have recording experience and can help you understand guitar gear and how to achieve the sound you're looking for.

Lessons are available at my studio in Hollywood (Highland and Selma), or at my home studio in Sherman Oaks (Woodman and Magnolia). I also offer in home lessons in the Hollywood area or anywhere within 20 minutes (including Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, and Burbank).

My rates are as follows:

At my studio in Hollywood or home studio in Sherman Oaks: $30/half hour, $55/hour;

At your home: $35/half hour, $65/hour.
